Neil Khot is a first-generation American, lifelong entrepreneur, and proud Democrat running for Congress in Illinois’ 8th District.

From Pingree Grove to Park Ridge, Barrington to Bartlett, the district has lost economic pillars like Motorola, Sears, and Ameritech.

He came to this country with only $300 and a computer science degree in his pocket. Through hard work and a belief in the American Dream, he built successful, socially responsible businesses that created hundreds of jobs across Illinois.

Now, he’s ready to bring that same grit, experience, and compassion to represent the people of the 8th Congressional District. Neil believes that Washington is in chaos, and his practical solutions-based way of thinking can help address that chaos and return government to its role of helping its citizens.

Neil is not a career politician. He is not running for the next political promotion. He is running to bring common-sense leadership and results-driven solutions to a political landscape that has lost sight of protecting the American Dream. Neil believes strongly that protecting our seniors and fighting to give residents the opportunities to compete in a global economy are critical to our success, not only nationally but right here in the 8th.
